For OTAs

Wholesale Flight Inventory for OTAs

GDS and NDC content shows what the airline has left to sell publicly. On peak dates that can be very little. EazyPNR gives OTAs access to series and wholesale seats that suppliers already hold, from multiple suppliers.

What you get
  • Pre-held seats on high-demand dates
  • Inventory from multiple series suppliers
  • A defined booking and PNR handover
  • Integration options discussed where agreed
Why OTAs look beyond GDS

When public availability says sold out

Seats that consolidators and tour operators have committed to under series contracts do not usually appear in public availability. On festival weekends, school holidays and popular leisure sectors, that can mean your search shows no seats or only the top fare buckets while held seats on the same flight are still unsold.

Adding series and wholesale inventory gives you something to sell on those dates. It is a different product from GDS content: fares are net or agent fares, rules are set by the supplier, and ticketing follows the supplier's process. Planning for those differences is what makes it work.

How series inventory differs from GDS and NDC content

These are general differences. Specific terms depend on each supplier and series.

Booking flow

Fitting series seats into your operation

Most OTAs start by having their operations or fulfilment team book series inventory through the EazyPNR web platform when GDS shows nothing suitable. That needs no technical work and shows quickly which routes and dates produce sales.

If volumes justify it, a deeper integration with your booking flow can be discussed. Scope and approach are agreed case by case.

  • Clear handover PNR and ticket numbers are recorded per passenger for your customer service team.
  • Rules before sale baggage, change and cancellation rules can be shown to the customer at checkout.
  • Name deadlines visible per booking, so late passenger details are chased in time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

More answers on the FAQs page, or ask our team.

Does EazyPNR offer an API for OTAs?

API integration can be discussed where volumes and requirements justify it. Many OTAs begin by booking through the web platform to test demand on their key routes.

Will series fares replace our GDS content?

No. Series inventory sits alongside GDS and NDC content. It is most useful on peak dates and sectors where public availability is limited.

Who issues the ticket?

The supplier holding the seats issues tickets under their airline arrangement. The PNR and ticket numbers are recorded on the booking for your team.

How do we handle customer changes?

Changes follow the rules on the series, which are visible before booking. Requests are raised on the booking and the supplier updates the status.

Can we sell series seats under our own brand?

Yes. EazyPNR is a B2B platform; your customer buys from you. How you present the fare and rules on your site is your decision.
