PNR management

One View of Every PNR, Supplier and Agent Alike

Series fare bookings often live in three places: the airline system, the supplier's sheet and the agent's inbox. EazyPNR keeps the PNR, its name list status, ticketing deadline and ticket numbers against the booking, so both sides read the same record.

What you track
  • PNR against every booking
  • Name list status and ticketing time limit
  • Ticket numbers, changes and cancellations
  • Refund requests with their current status
Why it matters

Where series fare PNRs usually go wrong

On a seat block, the supplier often holds the seats under one or more group PNRs and splits names out as agents sell. The agent only cares about their passengers, but needs the record locator, the ticket numbers and confirmation that names were submitted before the deadline.

When that information travels by email or chat, small gaps cause real cost: a name missed on the name list, a ticket not issued before the ticketing time limit, a change made in the airline system but not passed on. In the worst case the airline cancels the seats or raises an ADM against the ticketing party.

  • Names submitted late or with spelling errors that need a paid correction
  • Ticketing time limits missed because no one owned the queue
  • Schedule changes known to the supplier but not to the agent
  • Refund requests with no visible status for the agent

Everything about a PNR, attached to the booking

Each booking on EazyPNR carries its PNR details. The supplier updates the record as the booking moves through the airline process, and the agent sees the same status in their account without asking.

  • PNR per booking the record locator is stored with the passengers it covers.
  • Name list status whether names are pending, submitted or confirmed with the airline.
  • Ticketing time limit the deadline for ticket issue, visible to the team that has to meet it.
  • Ticket numbers added per passenger once issued, ready for the agent to share with the traveller.
  • Changes and cancellations logged on the booking so both sides know what changed and when.

A typical PNR journey on a series booking

From the agent's booking to the ticket, each hand-off is a status change rather than a message.

Supplier confirms

The booking is accepted and linked to the PNR it sits under.

Names go to the airline

Name list status moves to submitted ahead of the deadline.

Ticket before the limit

The ticketing time limit is visible so issue is not left to chance.

Ticket numbers recorded

Changes logged

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

More answers on the FAQs page, or ask our team.

Does EazyPNR create PNRs in the airline system?

PNRs are created and maintained in the airline or GDS environment by the supplier, as under their contract. EazyPNR stores and shares the PNR details against each booking so both sides work from the same information.

Can an agent see the PNR for their booking?

Yes. Once the supplier records it, the agent sees the PNR, name list status and ticket numbers for their passengers.

What is a ticketing time limit?

It is the deadline by which a ticket must be issued against a reservation. If it passes, the airline may cancel the booking. Limits on series inventory vary by airline and contract.

How are cancellations and refund requests handled?

The agent raises the request on the booking. The supplier applies the cancellation rules attached to the series and records the outcome, so the agent can follow the status.

Why does name list status matter so much?

Series and group seats usually have to be named by a set deadline. Unnamed seats may be released or charged, so seeing which bookings are still pending names is a direct way to protect the block.
